Case study · Home addition · Before & after
Covered porch turned into a four-season sunroom addition
We took an aging covered deck and converted it into a fully framed, sided, and roofed home addition — new walls, header beam, four-window bank, sliding patio door, matching siding and trim, and tied-in roofline. Same footprint, completely new living space.

- Scope
- Convert covered deck to conditioned addition — framing, sheathing, roofing tie-in, windows & door, siding, and exterior trim.
- Materials
- 2x framing, ZIP/OSB sheathing, asphalt shingles, vinyl siding to match existing, white trim, double-hung windows, sliding patio door.
- Highlights
- Adds real square footage without expanding the footprint — kept the existing deck access and matched the home's exterior finishes seamlessly.
